ABOUT KITCHEN COSMETICS
Kitchen Cosmetics is more than a name—it’s the craft and care of Dave Neal, a lifelong builder and stone fabricator with over 30 years of experience in cabinetry, trim, and countertops.
Born in Virginia and raised in Wyoming, Dave returned home at 18 and built his career from the ground up—first with wood, then with stone. From his years owning a cabinet shop in Iowa to building homes and eventually launching Kitchen Cosmetics in 2006, every phase has been marked by precision, consistency, and pride in a job well done.
By 2010, Dave brought fabrication fully in-house with the purchase of his first bridge saw. Today, he operates two 5-axis CNC saws, continues to measure and template every job personally, and works alongside his partner of 17 years, Michelle Colangelo-Colonna, who has helped grow the business through relationships and reputation.
No ads. No gimmicks. Just real stone, done right—and a business that’s been passed along from one happy customer to the next.
When he’s not hard at work crafting stone, Dave enjoys time on the water—fishing the Atlantic and Chesapeake Bay, where he applies the same patience and precision that define his cratsmanship.
